RML provides a complete menu of laboratory services to patients and physicians in Southwest Michigan.
When specimens are taken at your physicians’ office, our couriers rapidly transport these samples to our central laboratory for testing. Your physician may also provide you with a test requisition and you may go to any one of our Patient Service Centers without an appointment. Our convenient office hours accommodate your schedule and our goal is to complete your visit in less than 40 minutes.
RML participates with most insurance companies and third party payers. We will submit a claim to your insurance and will bill you only for co-payments, deductibles and non-covered services when appropriate. Because our mission is to provide low cost, high quality laboratory services, our fees are among the lowest in the country. This is very helpful for our patients without insurance coverage. Our large regional service area allows us to build an extensive database on your laboratory history. This allows for a better continuum of care since area hospitals and physicians have access to your laboratory history. Our strict policies on patient confidentiality provide you the assurance that your medical information will only be shared with medical personnel on a medical need to know basis and with those you request us to provide this information. We are in full compliance with government regulations and are in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
